I watched my younger brother's JV baseball game this past weekend and the starting pitcher had his batting gloves sticking out of his back pocket like you would see any other position player do. As he was throwing his warm-up pitches the opposing coach said something to the umpire and then the umpire then went and talked to the pitcher. After the pitcher and umpire talked the pitcher then ran to the dugout to put up his batting gloves. Either way im fine with the decision for him not to have the gloves in his pockets but just curious as to if it's a rule that pitchers can't have batting gloves in their back pockets or if it may have just been the coach/umpire asking the pitcher if he would remove them?
