Batting Swing question

How do you correct a swing that is a little too rotational and develop a more athletic base?

Welcome to the site. I see you don't have any replies yet. You will probably have to get a bit more specific and/or show a clip. I'm sure you will then get feedback. And be aware that, when you speak using general terms of "rotational" or "linear", you are using terms that are widely debated here and left to broad interpretation.

Tends to have a small hook to swing and pull everthing. What's the best way to practice getting inside the ball more?

Here is a link to a drill that has been very helpful to my sons development. This is a soft toss drill BTW.
