We will be selecting the top 40 players from the state of Virginia to compete on Monday August 11th against the top 40 players from the state of Maryland (Tuesday rain date).
This is an School all-star game for Virginia and Maryland’s top public and private High School public baseball Players. This year’s game will be held at Bowie Baysox Stadium in Bowie, Md…Both Games will be 9 inning Games played with National High School Federation rules.
Players will be selected and split into 2 teams. Game 1 will start at 5:00 pm and Game 2 will start at 8:00 pm. There will be a practice the morning of for College Coaches and Professional scouts as well as a Luncheon catered by Outback Steakhouse of Bowie for Team Virginia.
TRYOUTS…….
Players must try out to be selected to the 40 man roster. There will be a $25 fee to tryout. This fee will cover misc. expenses including a tryout evaluation that will be sent on to coaches and scouts who will be attending the game in August. Every player who attends the tryout will have their information processed and sent on.
The second Northern Virginia Tryout will be held on Friday July 11th at Waters Field in Vienna from 1:30 pm- 3:30 pm.
