R.W. Payne and Corey Luttrell each had a double and two RBIs, helping Spotsylvania to a 10-4 nondistrict win against Liberty last night, the Knights' first win of the season.Trevor Talley doubled and had two steals, and Jacob King had two hits for Spotsylvania.

Culpeper(H) 2 vs King George 4
Culpeper’s baseball team was held to just two base hits Wednesday in a 4-2 loss to the visiting King George Foxes.
Matt Nerkowski and Jarrod Elliot both finished 1-for-3, while Zach Crim recorded the Blue Devils’ only RBI. Culpeper’s other run was scored on an error.
Ramey Ferrell got the start on the mound for the Blue Devils and pitched six innings, striking out two while giving up five hits and three earned runs. Matt Glascock came in to close out the seventh.

Rory Smith, Tyler Daig and Jimmie Crismond had two hits each for the Cavaliers.
