Culpeper(H) 2 vs King George 4Culpeper’s baseball team was held to just two base hits Wednesday in a 4-2 loss to the visiting King George Foxes.
Matt Nerkowski and Jarrod Elliot both finished 1-for-3, while Zach Crim recorded the Blue Devils’ only RBI. Culpeper’s other run was scored on an error.
Ramey Ferrell got the start on the mound for the Blue Devils and pitched six innings, striking out two while giving up five hits and three earned runs. Matt Glascock came in to close out the seventh.
