How are the athletics and academics at Baylor University? I know they were in the CWS.
"Practice."-Tiger Woods when asked what he would do after failing to make the cut at the U.S. Open. "When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stone-cutter hammering away at his rock perhaps 100 times without as much as a crack showing. Yet at the 101st blow, it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before." mtownfan

mtown...Head coach Steve Smith was at Mississippi State when my son went to MSU.

Great coach, especially for pitchers. One of the finest baseball facilities in the nation.

Mitch Thompson, one of the assistants was also formerly at MSU. Not sure if Steve Jernigan is also there.

Plays in the Big 12...also one of the finest baseball conferences in the nation that had this years' national champion, Texas, as a member.

Education has to be near the top, too, considering its a "religious" institution.
mtownfan,
Good in all aspects! Lots of news building & expansion taking place. Quality education.
We have several friends playing there, & know those that are going this fall & recruits for fall of 2006 (4-5 so far).
I'd check out their media guide thouroughly..
There are multiple backups for a couple of key positions.
As BeenthereIl notes, Coaches have an outstanding reputation & following.
Big 12 is great conference, too.
