I want to buy a few BBCOR bats for my team for this coming season. I have tried to find out which BBCOR bats are the better ones to use. I guess since there havent been many used yet, there is little feedback out there. Is it worth paying $400 for the top of the line bats? Or are the $200 bats just as good? Whats everyone opinion?

Mike B, I would go with 2-3 different models. Even the new BBCOR bats are weighted different between models. Some are end loaded for power hitters, while others are a little more balanced for contact hitters. Each hitter is different in what they like. The 2012 Voodoo seems end loaded, while the Marucci Black seems to be more balanced. Both great bats if they are in the right hands. There are some really nice, much less expensive bats out there that will perform as well as the two that I have mentioned. The Easton Plasma is a nice balanced bat under 100.00. I'm with Stats4Gnats, go with a few that are less expensive but make sure you have different length, weight, and balance combinations.
