OK, I need some first hand BBcor advice. Im looking closely at the 2012 Dimarini Voodoo (http://bbcorbats.com/bbcor_bats/demarini_voodoo_bbcor_bat.html) and the 2012 Louisville Slugger Exogrid (http://bbcorbats.com/bbcor_bats/louisville_slugger_exogrid_bbcor_bat.html). I want the most powerful BBCOR I can get. Does anyone have any advice. Also is there somewhere I can try out these bats? Thanks Smile

I'm not familair with all the bats except for the Rawlings. We just had a Home Run contest at our National Showcase. Every player used the Rawlings BBCor 5150 bat. They had no problem hitting them out of the Boston Red Sox Spring Training park. One player hit 14 out in 24 swings. Many very long home runs were hit during this contest. These are high school juniors!

Don't know where someone could test them. If you watch the College World Series, South Carolina and Virginia both use the same Rawlings bat.

I've read only good things about the Voodoo. It is the most highly rated BBCOR from what I've seen. My son used a demo Voodoo today in the cages and really liked it.

We are wanting to test the CF5 also. It is supposed to be a little less head heavy than most BBCOR bats.

On the contrary the Exogrid is not as well received. The coach at the cages was not happy with them. That is a bummer since we have used an Exogrid for the last 5 years. Looks like we will be switching to Demarini this year.
I'm sorry Ghost, but your title "BBCOR power bats" is in itself an oxymoron!

PrimeJr. would concur with FOG; wood has more pop when you center it!

However, College Coaches are going to want you to use the ones (BBCOR's) they provide.

Personal preference is huge here, no one agrees on "the best one." If you like hitting with Wood you would likely prefer one with more weight in the barrel not one where the weight is more evenly distributed away from the head.

You need to find a place near you where you can try them or borrow models from friends and give them a swing before buying.
