Well somebody has to start a “Beach” thread, can’t really call it the Beach District anymore haven’t been a lot of games played but from what I’ve seen so far here’s my assessment:

Kellam. Well coached and playing the game the right way. They have good senior leadership in Tyler Nelin and Landon Newman and a couple kids that have stepped up and are willing to try and fill the shoes of the D1 athletes that graduated. I think they will do well this year.

Tallwood, Another team well coached and anytime Culver Lamb steps on the mound the opposing team had better bring their “A” game. Lamb and Montgomery will do well this year. Grayson Lamb has greatly improved and will be another plus pitcher for Tallwood.

PA, well, let’s just say they are REALLY young. Andrew Moran should pitch well this year and they have a couple freshman that we will be talking about a lot for the next few years. Freshman Derrick Ringer is an excellent player and will compete this year.

FC, Ton of talented athletes, I am a big fan of their short stop #8 Austin (forgot last name) anyway, he is fun to watch, plays the game hard. They have quality pitching as well in Short, Sheehan, and Rosen.

Landstown, they have a good team and will compete.  Jacob Sinniger and Brandon Kusemall will do well. They have a couple of underclassmen that have the potential to be big time players.

Salem, haven’t seen them yet but Shauger should be their ace.

Ocean Lakes, well let’s just say they are going to have a down year, I haven’t seen them yet but all the reports don’t look good.

Bayside, new coaching staff, I think this is a re-invigorated program. They lack the talent of other teams but I gotta believe Spears will have them competing before the year ends.

Greenrun, Haven’t seen them yet but look for Christian Hartley to have a good year.

Kempsville, Haven’t seen them yet but I gotta believe they will compete, they have good arms and Ian Pizzella (sp?) will have a great year.

Cox, Haven’t seen them yet but it’s a safe bet they will be in the mix.

Now, if the weather will just cooperate…….
