Beach Baseball April 28/30th

great game by both teams. kellam came out in the 3rd with 3 runs but kempsville answered back with 3 runs of their own in the bottom half.kellams starter went the distance was a lefty but it wasnt sean ray .. he looked like he was in trouble starting in the 5th when he had to rely on his curveball for strikes on 0-0 counts. Kempsvilles starter went the distance and pitched very well. David Wickre hit a walk off jack with one out to end the game. GREAT GAME by both teams. I am a kempsville fan and want to know when the other beach teams will start giving the CHIEFS some credit. Question to all beach district baseball fans is kempsville even in the top 4 teams in the beach yet.. well i think they should..

Kempsville has the second best record in the Beach district along with Cox with a 7-3 record. FC is first with a 8-2 record and PA, Ocean Lakes and Salem are 6-3. Kellam is 5-4.

We don't want any credit we will take the wins instead and let everyone else fight it out for the press.

I warned everyone earlier in the season on here to not take Kempsville lightly. They are a good team in a good district and they will make some noise in the regular season as well as the district tournament. Watch and see. By the way...Cox is 6-3. Hopefully tonight we will change that to 7-3. Good luck Falcons.

Good outings by 3 pitchers as PA beats Landstown at home. Beamer Weems had the hot bat; Knapton for Landstown had a HR for Landstown. Good to see Zach Woods on the mound to close it.
