Beach District 4/4 & 4/7

Should be an intresting week for Cox,FC, and kempsville.this week could define each schools season. good luck to all teams.

FC vs KC postponed until tomorrow afternoon at 4:00.

PA 8 Bayside 0; Brandon Hendrix pitched a no hit shut-out, Jake McAloose had two doubles and the game winning rbi.

In addition, I was told by a player this evening that Beemer hit a grand slam and Buddy Rivera hit a 2 run HR.

McAloose hit a 2-run double in the 2nd, Rivera hit a 2-run homerun in the 4th, and Weems plated the rest of Pa's runs with a grand slam in the 6th. Hendrix threw awesome, no hitter with around 7 or 8 strikeouts.

First Colonial 6 Kempsville 1

F Barry lead off single, a walk to Mueller and a 2 out Nick Cruit 3 run shot to Left center and before you know it the score is 3-0. FC up the score in the 4th to 4-0 with a Cruit basehit, stolen base and a 2 out hit by K Hill. Kempsville added a run in the 6th and with the base loaded and 2 outs tried to suprise everyone with a bunt, on a close play the man in blue called him out and KC threat was over. FC added 2 more in the top of the 7th with another 2 out hit for FC, a 2 run base hit by A Wright. Bulman pitched well for FC allowing, 5 hits 8 Ks and 1 unearned run and B Mueller pitched a 1-2-3 7th. Cruit and K Hill each had 2 hits.

who pitched for kempsville?

Hewit, and he looked very good for the most part. Not quite as consistant as the last time KHS faced FC. He was very impressive but his control was a little off. Just wasn't his day.
