Cox 2 Kempsville 1 in 8 innings.

True pitchers' duel where neither guy deserved to lose. Kempsville's Murphy kept the Falcon hitters offbalance all evening and Reid Killen pitched 8 strong innings recording 13? K's. Cox plated the winning run courtesy of a pinchhit, 1 out double by Ross Lambert and a two out, two strike single by Drew Wilkinson. Kind of game you hate to see anyone lose.

Not sure of all the details but received reports that Kellam, led by a HR by James Taylor, came up with a huge upset of District leader, PA 2-1
Yes, it is true as probably everyone who is interested knows by now that Kellam defeated PA 2-1 in a quality pitching performance by Mario Rosales of Kellam. PA had at least 4 times when they could of gotten it done. My hats off to Kellam. Sam Burged got the loss in a nice performance.

Today, Princess Anne 5, Salem 3. Ben Tomchick went 5 innings for the victory. Leo Nieto went the last two innings yielding 3 runs in the sixth. Nieto 3 pitched the last inning (Salem's 3, 4 & 5 hitters) to end the game.

Donnie Corsner broke it open in the second with a towering 3-run blast over the right field fence. No doubt about that one.
