Per comments of Pete Zell (head coach Salem) on radio this morning, if 3 or more teams are tied at the end of regular season in the Beach District, there is no automatic bid from regular season to the Eastern Region. The two bids are determined by the Beach District tournament which begins Saturday, May 21.

If this is true I believe 5 teams in the beach district will be rooting for no upsets Monday in the Kel/Cox FC/Tallwood and PA/Salem games.
With the way this season has played out, it wouldn't be surprising to see 3 upsets..

Of course I don't think it will happen.

However if one of the three happen to get upset, and a playoff game is to happen. I believe that the loser of the game is gonna have an extremely tough road heading into the tourney. Not to mention weather reports are calling for rain all week.

This is getting really interesting!

Believe Cox clinches (#6 or #7) also since Bayside and Landstown play each other - worst they could do is end at 7-9 with either Bayside/Landstown ending at 6-10. Even if they end in a tie, Cox would be #8 (if I understand how ties are counted).
