Beach District week 2

PA over Landstown: 7-4

Tallwood over Green Run: 8-2

Kempsville over bayside: 7-2

Ocean Lakes over Kellam: 9-4

FC over Salem: 5-3

FC is now 3-0 with win over Salem, moving them up to 4th in the rankings.

Bballdad...I miss the updates from the beach games! If u have time can you keep us up to date. I travel tons and don't get to see all of the results but got to a couple of games this week. As posted in the topic..."are we ready to talk about the upcoming season"..." I think the story line is holding true, although I haven't heard much about Granby but did get to see Landstown / FC and O Lakes /Cox and witnessed a lot of good pitching but better hitting. Justin Cook (FC) can flat out hit for average and pitches well. Landstown was shut down by Bodie Sheehan who looked very sharp giving up only 2 hits but a bit disappointed in that I thought Landstown would be much tougher to get around. Thought I was going to see Cox / First Colonial game but turned out to be JV but as I was walking up saw FC JV kid hit possibly the hardest line drive home run I have seen in HS ball in quite some time...hit the scoreboard in left center and sounded like a cannon And I am thinking if this is what they have in JV then Varsity must be special this year. Left and went to see Cox  and PA...should have stayed at the Jv game...sort of lackluster on both sides for those two that day. Still among the contenders in the beach this year I am thinking lots of close games and good baseball...got to get over to see Grassfield Hickory and Western Brach this spring!
