Landstown needed to break out like that. Both of those HR's were opposite field.

In all fairness though, after the primary Kellam pitcher was pulled with Landstown winning 5-0, the coach pitched mostly freshman/sophmores....

I didn't read the paper this morning...who threw for Landstown to hold that lineup to only 3 runs?

Also forgot to add, in talking with a Kellam parent last night, the #1 Kellam pitcher (forgot his name) had his Tommy John surgery on Wednesday....

How is Pat Harrington doing? I haven't heard a word about him this season? Are pitchers pitching around him?

He looked good as usual, don't know exactly what he did at the plate...

Was pretty impressed that Landstown's catcher, John Wilson, threw him out at 2nd on a steal attempt...

I was on the Kellam side.

Don't read too much into the catcher throwing out the runner. It was a high and away pitch (pitchout?) on a slidestep from the pitcher. IMO, he can be run on but he made a great throw in that situation.

In the PA game Harrington got intentionally walked twice.
Redbird, sounds like you described the perfect pitch to throw out most runners. The ball was at the bag waiting for Harrington to arrive.

Yeah, really don't here about the Landstown catcher, but he also went 2 for 3 with 4 RBI's. Could be breaking out?
