Kempsville 5 bayside 3

Kempsville scores first in the first inning on a freak pop fly to SS who seemed to lose it in the sun. With Kempsville down 3-1 in the bottom of sixth, Bayside's pitcher walks 5 out of seven batters to walk in tying run. After bringing in a new pitcher, Tom Wall hits a 2 RBI single for the go ahead. Kempsville had a chance to add to its lead, but base runner was caught trying to stretch to third for the final out of inning. Kempsville scores a total of 5 runs on just 2 hits. Kyle German records his first beach district win on his first beach district start to go 2-0 for season. He gave up only 1 Earned run. Way to go Kyle. Chiefs hitters still flat and base running almost gets them in trouble, but they got the win.

Note: Kempsville's JV records in 6th win against Salem on Monday to ramain undefeated.

Didn't see any results from other games, but saw Bayside defeated Tallwood on Wed. Both teams cathcers each had a home run for the only scores (baysides 2 run homer)
