Beach results 4/22

Kellam 9 - 2 over FC. Sean Ray's performance on the mound was great (2 or 3 hits w/ 6 or 7 Ks). Brett Curll went deep for Kellam, and one of the FC batters also hit a dinger.

Kellam won 9-1 I thought, could be wrong, the scoreboard wasn't operating like usual. Berry took the loss. Ray got the win. Ray only allowed 2-3 hits. A homer for FC was the only run scored for them. Cheers.

The score was 9-2, Kellam over FC. Josh Herowitz (sp?) hit one out for FC to right center. Topher Ellis scored in the 6th.

Landstown 5 Green Run 4 in 8 innings.
Ryan Crain pitched a complete game for Landstown giving up 1 earned run with 6 k's. He also had 3 hits and 1 rbi. Tim Soliday had 2 rbi's, Frank Laster 1 and Brad Chambers had the game winning hit in the 8th. Newcomb started on the hill for Green Run and pitched into the 5th or 6th and was relieved by Matt Poole who finished the game and got the loss.

Landstown's defense was spotty, but they did turn 3 double plays.

Kempsville 4 Tallwood 2

Chiefs score in 1st with solo HR by Perry Olinick. Ben Lee starts 3 run rally in 2nd with base hit single and a stolen base. Neil Ramerez adds RBI to drive in Lee. 2 straight base hits by Little and Henson drive in final 2 runs. Tallwood's 1st score is a result of 2 errors and a balk. Tallwood scores final run in bottom of 7th from a ground rule double from Tim Waley, a balk and sac fly. Neil Rameriz pitches a complete game to get his first Beach District win to go to 1-4 for season and allows only 1 Earned run.
