Landstown 4 First Colonial 0

Kyle Lawhorn (Jr) 6 innings of two-hit ball. Cameron Butler (Sr) closed the 7th recording a couple strikeouts.

Juniors Jordan Eagan and Trevor Henson pitched for FC. They both pitched extremely well, especially Henson in relief. Eagan pitch count must of ran high.

Landstown scored in their top of the first with RBI single from Cameron Day (Soph); Day led the Eagles with two hits for the game.

The Patriots threatened in the bottom of 2nd. After a walk and their first hit of the game, a sacrifice advanced the runners to 2nd/3rd. But they were left stranded. Again in the bottom the 3rd a runner reached third (lead-off with their 2nd hit)for FC with only one out. But comebacker to the pitcher and a line-out to SS killed the threat.

The Defense for Landstown was stellar and real difference in the game. The Eagles were able to capitalize on a couple Patriot mistakes with some timely hits.

The Patriots hit a couple balls hard, but the defense was there to make the plays.

Edit: Congratulations to Michael Curry (FR) on his first Varsity hit; here's hoping for many more.

PA beat Green Run 12-1.
This game was much closer than the score seems, and one hell of a game by Ross, dont know his last name, but I know he went 4-4 or something to that nature.
And after racing little Tomchick, their is great promise for him. He was throwing hard with movement on his fastball and a tight curve.
GreenRun left bases loaded 3 times and grounded into 3 double plays that were real rally killers.
yeah fc did hit the ball really hard that game. justin smith and trevor hinson espeically put good swings on the ball atleast one at bat. kyle lawhorn pitched a very good game, but i think if just a couple more hits would have fallen for fc they coulda pulled it out. Hinson also pitched very well, and most said he should have started that game. Fc plays salem this thursday and i belive either justin or trevor will be starting that game. good luck to landstown who im pretty sure they play cox sometime this week.
