Final Score: Landstown 10 Salem 0

LAWMAN, want to ellaborate?

Cameron Butler threw a 1 hitter; 54 pitches with only 13 balls called.

Again the defense was solid. Salem played very flat.
Nate Vosler pitched for the SunDevils and was constantly getting behind hitters; several walks. Salem did not help their pitcher in the field with several errors. Landstown would take advantage with some timely hits.

After Cameron Days base-hit plated the first run for the Eagles (bottom of third) and placing runners at 2nd/3rd (Day moved to 2nd on throw from the outfield), CF/Michael Feduniewicz (JR) laced a single through the middle for 2rbi's. Landstown would score eight runs in the bottom of third/one more in the fourth and close out the game on the 2nd hit of the game from Julius Scott (Jr/DH) plateing Day in the bottom of the fifth.

Congratulations to Freshman Jeremy Saniford on his first Varsity hit (2hits/2 rbi's).

Every Landstown batter in the line-up had a hit but one, however the later player reached base three times via walk or error.

Sounds like Landstown is off to a good start at 2-0, with Cox thursday and hosting a spring break tournament next week. Phil, i'm guessing Kyle will get the little white aspirin for thursday?[/QUOTE]

Probably, but he has to do better getting the ball down. FC was able to hit a few balls hard because he left some pitches up.

I just want this defense to keep it up; they have played exceptionally well.

For the tournament; hopefully we should see more from our other pitchers (we have 5/6 other arms not including the one-hurt; Scotty) with Cameron and Kyle pitching a few innings only to stay sharp.

Wow, with the weather we had today that's impressive. Nothing was going out of Landstown today without a boarding pass.
