Well we are well past the half way point what or who are some everybodys surprises so far? these are few of my observation:
Teams
1. FC, I would have never guessed they would have the best record in the beach. They have done it by playing team ball. Congrat's to Coach Stubbe and his players.
2. Salem. thought for sure they would be in the hunt for Beach title. They have lost some games that make one scratch their heads in wonder.
3. Kellam, Thought they would be a whole lot more dominant than they have been. they seem to let teams hang around until the late innings.
Players
1. Larry McCabe is having a great year at the plate and on the mound.
2. Sam Sinnen has emerged as maybe the most dominant pitcher in the beach.
3. Nick Fasion I don't think Landstown would have but 1 or 2 wins if they didn't have that young man.
4. Nick Walker New kid on the beach block has been solid for the knights.
5. Riley Koonce(sp?) again, another team that would probably not have a win if not for this young man.
6. Kyle Morrison, I would best described as "Quiet" good, seems to get it done day after day with little or no fan fare.
