Shaking my head this morning over the ongoing dispute between Jose Mesa and Omar Visquel that seemingly has turned nasty with retaliation after retaliation.

Curious, shouldn't they just tell both sides before the game starts and before it gets out of control that if anyone gets hit there will be automatic ejections? Maybe they fear such draconian measures affecting the game but the players don't seem poised to stop it.

Does anyone else remember this level of animosity being carried over between games or seasons to this extent?
