So I like your ideas and execution it looks like his swing is improving. What do you think(cue wise) helps eliminate bat drag? I have had an issue with this from my team and like to see how others address the problem.
The biggest part of eliminating bat drag is making sure the bat angle is correct at toe touch or foot strike position. Knob at catchers feet with the barrel over his head. Then it becomes important for the hitter to understand the correct slotting movement of his elbow and hands. Please pm me, and I can discuss in more detail.

I agree with you 100 percent..the knob pointed at the catcher is KEY number one to a great swing.the hands just dont hold on to the bat,,the hands are key to a great swing
patriots, can you explain first what you are calling 'bat drag'? Have a pic, or video?
BTW, you can point the knob at the catcher and still have bat drag.

That is exactly what bat drag is? I coach and this is a problem with a lot of our young kids that come into the program. And I want to get some ideas on how to eliminate it(ques etc.)

Turn the barrel between the hands, with the hands. The hands have an EARLY pressure sensation, then the rear hip/rear leg pulls them to contact.
In the original post, video part II, the instructor stared at the problem over and over and over and never addressed it.
Instead he went on a snipe hunt about a linear move of the hip.
