Bellefonte (Pa) baseball will be sponsoring three Showcase wood bat baseball tournaments this summer. The first tournament will be May 27-29 (Memorial Weekend). This will be a 16U tournament, with ten teams. The second tournament, the main tournament of the summer will start on June 22nd with the PERFECT GAME USA Pa. State Showcase, followed by Bellefonte Showdown XXIV, June 23-25. This tournament will have two division's 16U with twelve teams (Ten spots still remain) and 19U with twenty four teams (Six spots still remain). The third tournament July 7-9 will be for 19U elite Showcase travel teams, this tournament will have a ten team field.
All tournaments will be run with the same format, round robin play guaranteeing each team four games (weather permitting) with a championship round for the qualifying teams.
You can reserve your spot in any of the three Showcase tournaments by completing the tournament application which can be found on the Bellefonte baseball web site: http://www.bellefontebaseball.com and remitting your entry fee. No team will be entered into any of the tournaments until both are complete.
On Thursday June 22nd PERFECT GAME USA will conduct a Pa. State SHOWCASE day at the Shaner Sports Complex in State College Pa. for any interested baseball player participating in the tournament or not, for more information about the Showcase go to either the Bellefonte baseball web site or Perfect Game USA's web site: http://www.perfectgame.org
