I have a few guidelines that may be useful to you. One organization that shall go unnamed uses the following rough guidelines for a middle infielder

60 yard minimum 6.8
home to first right hand hitter 4.2, left hand hitter 4.0

I am not certain about velocity throwing from SS to first, my guess would be 83 mph minimum

hope this helps a bit

What position do you play? --this will determine a lot of things for you especially foot speed and arm strength

There are many. many players at the D-I level who do not break 7.0 in the 60 especially 3B, 1B and catchers

If you watched the CWS this past June you saw a great number of pitchers throwing in the low to mid 80's---the 90 MPH guys where in the pen and were good for one maybe two innings.

My Advice to you: don't get hung up on numbers---play your game --you can't be something you aren't--never forget that--play hard and play smart and you will be fine not to mention that Division I baseball is not the end all be all for a college prospect.

I have had two sons and a stepson play college ball--one was D-I , another was D-III--- the stepson was D-III and then went D-I

Good Luck
