Bergen Camp correction @ Texas & Area Code Tryout

Steve Bort Director of Baseball Prospects of America and the Bergen Beach Baseball teams is conducting a winter showcase camp on Saturday, January 20 at the Katy Sting Sports Academy. Colorado Rockies Scout Jeff Edward's will organize and run the camp. Jeff Edward's is the Louisiana and S., TX Scout for the Colorado Rockies. Jeff advises that he will select 4 additional scouts for the 8 hour camp. Jeff annually holds this summer camp at San Jacinto Jr. College. He wants to bring his fall Camp to Katy as 4 of his top High School prospects from his June camp attend Katy and Cy Fair Schools. Not only will participants have the opportunity to get on a college/pro radar screen, but some participants will be offered the opportunity to participate on the Bergen Beach National team that participates in the High School CABA World Series, players may also be chosen to participate in the UJA Junior Olympic Baseball Championships and invited to the Area Code tryouts in June 2007. This camp will be held at Katy Sting Sports Academy on the north side of Katy. Steve Bort and the Baseball Prospects of America were introduced to Katy Sting Baseball 3 years ago after 6 Katy Sting players were invited and played in the CABA World Series for Steve Bort.
