Best 2009 Freshman you have seen this year on the Varsity level?

I don't have the answer to your question but I think I will buckle my seatbelt and hope for the best for this thread.....
the last one along these lines got personal then disappeared.....

I personally haven't seen any impact freshman on any of the teams we have played so far. Some Sophmores but mainly Juniors and Seniors...

I'm sitting next to CS on this one.

Are indicating the frog parents are a little like their frog sons and have not learned basic table manners yet? Not sure I would disagree on a few...but wait until you see next year's crop of parents for the now 8th graders. God's gift to North Tx Baseball comes to mind.

I hear Swagerty...another freshman...is doing well at ASU.

Brandon Loy - has been doing well at Texas as a starting freshman at 3rd

Coats at TCU, Sibley at TSU, and Behmanesh at DBU -- to name a few U's.

No clue. I don't have any kids in HS and could only name 2 starters on our local varsity team and one is a jr and the other is a sr. The rest all look the same to me.

I was just curious to see if any fresh were making some noise on varsity.

Verrett at Baylor is 5-0 with 1 save and an era below 2.

I just asked a scout why Verrett went undrafted. This scout is pretty upset that his area contact didn't have him see him last year.

No stud fish in Denton. Sanger is giving a kid a try. Several promising sophomores in Krum and at Ryan.

I'm not sure how he is doing overall, but Freshman Brooks Pinckard hit a grand slam for Baylor last night against A & M. Hainsfurther was 3-4 with a double.

Mine hits behind Sibley at Tx State(TSU is in Houston ) They are both 5'8" and 155 lbs......but they are having a blast driving opposing coaches nuts at the top of the lineup.

All the impact HS Varsity Freshmen play in the Houston area.

Just kidding guys. I learned a few manners after the last thread.

The Houston area does have a few freshmen starting varsity. Check the Houston5aBaseball boards. Some of the kids in 13-5A (Klien ISD) and 15-5A (Cy-Fair ISD) are mentioned. Both Districts are in Region 2 with the Round Rock to Dallas teams.

Spencer Edwards, freshman at Rockwall, delivered game winning 2rbi double tonight against Rockwall-Heath. He gives the Jackets some important speed on the base paths and showed some finesse at 3B on defense.

WAAAAAYYYYYY TOOOOOOOOOOO EARLLLLLLLYYYY TTTOOOOOO TTTEELLLLL!!!! Usually, only a true stud fish comes along, what? once every 10-20 years for varsity? Mentally and physically fish are just too overpowered when placed on varsity, let'em cut their teeth on jv and build their confidence, then give'em a year or so and come back and throw the names out...

ok,distric 8-3a. canyon lake has a fish pitching for varsity, cody breest pretty good. wimberly has three starter that are fish, ss blakemore rf t.mcroberts and catcher grey. all have started most games. all should be studs in a couple years.
