I was looking at the names of those online here this morning and noticed a name that stuck out.

Made me think about those who have the most unique or funny usernames.

The name I noticed was "slobintoronto"! Never read a post from "slobintoronto" but interesting name.

Not talking about who is the best poster, but who has the best names.

What are some of the other names that standout?

Another long winter type topic which is good.

We were just discussing that a new poster named Bluegrass from Kentucky had a good screen name.

Some of my other favorites:

Holden Caulfield - I asked him about this and it is from Catcher in the Rye - his son of course is a catcher.

CatsureMom - her son must be a catcher too.

URKillingMeBlue - I think I would be fearful to be a home plate umpire at one of her son's games Big Grin

Fun topic.

I agree with Cleveland Dad - I really like the name Bluegrass - wonder if he would switch names with me? Smile

If you look through the member directory, you can find a huge assortment - we've got a Yankee and a Southern Belle and pretty much everything in between!

Found two names that I thought were cute/interesting
Miracle Whip

CD - You hit the nail on the head with that one. I've sat with UKMB at a game with her boy pitching and I can tell you that she comes by her name honestly. Eek

I like the creativity that Bee> uses with the stinger incorporated into the board name.

JBB,
Actually I too always though that Bee>, had the most creative name from regular posters.

Howver, I always interpreted the > as greater than therefore the name Bee great or Bee greater than.

I like the stinger theory.

And as a pitcher's mom I love URKMB, can relate. Smile

Bullwinkle, does this topic sound familiar? Big Grin

As long as were are talking ONLY about poster's online handles, I like the name Ramrod.

If any of you have seen the movie "Super Troopers" you will understand. It's one of the funniest lines in the movie. Big Grin

I also like OnePlayersPop because he is well known as OPP which reminds me of the old-school, 80's Rap hit "Other People's Property" or OPP, lol. Smile
Four or five years ago, when I first started reading (or lurking-I didn't post for years!) this site, I thought those "avatars" (I guess that's the correct name for the pictures near the user name)were all photos of posters. It is only funny if you can remember TRHit's avatar, and Seadog's avatar. I thought they were actual photos. Seadog looked an awful lot like John Wayne Gacy, so I read his posts with great caution. TR's looked like a cross between a cowboy and Einstein, so I figured he knew what he was talking about. (I was fairly right about him). I got reading glasses shortly after that!
Another vote for URkillingmeblue as the best name! And I've had the great pleasure of sitting next to her at a game too (and have added a few new west coast heckles to my east coast repetoire)! BUT....the most priceless memory I have about URKMB is the memory of the look on her face when it appeared as if her son was going to make his first collegiate appearance! Flight to San Francisco..$300.00; Limo ride to Stanford's Sunken Diamond from airport...$75.00; cost to replace necessities when USAir lost my luggage...$200.00; garlic fries at Sunken Diamond...$3.50; the look of sheer terror on URKMB's face when she saw her son go into the bullpen to warm up....PRICELESS! I have to go with Krakatoa.

Years ago, my future mother-in-law asked if anyone knew where Krakatoa was and I said, "east of Java." She was very surprised that I knew that and she decided that I was brilliant. She apparently hadn't seen any of the commercials for the movie, but she did let me marry her daughter.
