Best protective cup

Having tried a couple of the cheapie K-mart variety cups and having my son complain about their discomfort every second he's wearing one, I thought I'd best turn to the experts. What is the best (read "most comfortable") protective cup out there? I found a new one by ShockDoctor that looks pretty good. Any suggestions?

Proflex 2. Sometimes I forget I'm even wearing it... so much that I sometimes forget to wear it.

Also gives good protection, as a catcher I can say that all the goods are still in the bag...

I vote for "Duke" brand athletic supporters and cups. Works for our end of the spectrum.

A lot of the comfort issue may be the supporter holding the cup.

My son began wearing sliding pads with a cup holder 3 years ago instead of a supporter and has never complained about the cup since.

My son wears the jock w/cup over his sliding pants or (boxers if it's BP). It prevents the chafing from the straps. He tried the cup "in" the sliding pants but felt it was "too loose for the goose!"

I bought Youper Pad Sliding Shorts for my son, perfect fit. Very comfortable, the padding on the side is not too much. He loves it.
