I agree with TRHit.

But when we did this, my sons Doctor said most any Multi Vitamin would do. He also said that if my son ate properly that vitamins probably were not needed. But, what teenager eats properly?

We simply went to GNC and got a multi-vitamin that they said was for active men. He also drinks Protein shakes, 1 in the morning and 1 after each workout.
I often feel like I am lecturing on this web site regarding nutrition, drugs, etc. However, there is so much disinformation out there which is obvious in many of the posts. For starters, there is no such thing as synthetic vitamins. For instance asorbic acid (vitamin C) is asorbic acid whether you get it from oranges, rose hips, etc. I always recommend a good mult mineral/vitamin from a large corporation (Centrum, One-A-Day, etc) verse buying something from a health food store. Supplements are not regulated. Therefore, you are kind of taking a risk/chance by buying from an unknown source.
