Hate to say this now, but.... my wife has a big ball. To the kids it looks like a great toy, so they've all been messing around with it. It's easy to see that it's great for stretching and toning the lower back, abs, and lats - I have yet to try it myself, afraid that I might pop it. I've actually got a little routine where my boys lay on it backside down and then do plyoball crunches off of it.

My son got a big ball for Christmas.
He uses it for crunches and stretching. But evidently the ball needs to be bigger. There is one size ball for up to 6' and another for those who are over.
He's adament he needs a bigger ball.

MrandMrs....there is a patch kit available. It's similar to a bicycle tire repair kit. There's a little mini cheesegrater to rough up the spot first. Then you have to sand it a little. Finally, apply the glue and the patch. Wait about 3-4 hours before testing.

Okay, enough levity. Here's an excellent online resource for serious stability ball work. Some might think these things are only for "women's workouts". Not true - the proper use of a stability ball will let you know quickly where you are weak. Another great core workout tool is....can't think of its official name....but it's a small wheel with handles on each side. From your knees (or balls of feet for the really courageous), roll forward in a push-up position on this thing and then try and retract. Extremely diffcult and will have your abs screaming. This site has printable training sheets:
