Former Toronto Blue Jays Pitcher Derek Brandow will continue to grow his relationship with Big League Sports Academy. TSR will change over to become the BLSA Selects in 2013 and will enjoy working out of the newly renovated indoor/outdoor facility located in Rockwall Texas.

Coach Brandow keeps a relatively low profile in the DFW baseball scene from what I can tell. However, I can tell you that he is the type of coach you'd want your son to play for. He does hire me as a consultant sometimes, so the nay-sayers out there can say I'm biased, but the reality is that he loves teaching and mentoring youngsters and he knows his subject matter. He played professionally up to AAA and big league spring training before the dreaded injury bug ended his pitching career.
