my son is a freshman at Binghamton this fall. He's only 3 weeks into it but he's very happy there. They have a head coach who has been there a long time and built the program up over time. My son is happy with everything. This Sat. will be my first visit to see him play so it should be interesting. From a parents perspective, if I were you I would give them a good hard look.
Binghamton is the "tiara" of the SUNY school system in NY in terms of academics--- Their athletics keep improving and the school has put mucho dollars into the athletic facilties---Not a bad place to be if you qualify and the head coach is a great guy and super baseball man
Macboys8: We had two Binghamton players spend the summer with us while they played on a local collegiate summer league team. Great kids and if they are any indication, the coach up there is doing something right. If you want your son to get a first hand opinion, I'm sure they would be glad to tell him all about it. Just send me a note and I'll ask them.
