Any truth to the rumor that Paul Ahearne at Bishop Lynch is leaving and going to Parish HS. I heard it yesterday but could just be bad info. Heard he was not fired but going on his own.

It is the truth. He resigned and is getting more money and much better benefits at Parish Episcopal. Can't blame the guy. If anyone is interested or knows someone who would like to coach call the Bishop Lynch AD.

Dax is not leaving Parish. I heard Ahearne is going to run the Parish middle school baseball program
Heard the job now belongs to last year's assistant coach Clayton Nester.

Paul will be missed as he was a huge upgrade from the prior ineffective leadership on the diamond. Will be interesting to see if the recent successes can be sustained in future seasons. Good luck to Clayton "Chili Dog" Nester.
Pretty crazy that a middle school coaching job pays more and has better benefits than a job at the largest private high school in the state.
Best of luck to Nester and his team. I believe they only return one player from last years team. Losing your whole starting lineup and rotation can't be easy.
