Any idea what pay range is for such a position with a private in that area?

Friar Fred, I'm curious as to the motive behind your post.  I am somewhat familiar with the BL job opening and know that the applicants have been whittled down to 4 finalists.  I don't know all 4 names, but I'm sure of 2 - and both are very qualified.  So far, the new Pres at BL has done pretty good with his athletic hires.

The motive was to let interested parties know of a good job opening.  I think you may be somewhat misinformed on the status of the job.  It is still wide open and only a preliminary review of potential applicants has taken place.  There are no finalists at this time as the school is still accepting resumes.  I am curious what you might be able to share via PM if you are willing.  I know that this can be a really great job for the right candidate.  BL has had a very successful run this year with state championships in Football and Girls Basketball, a Boys Basketball final team, a Volleyball final team, Girls soccer state semi-final team, state wrestling, golf etc.

Friar Fred,  I've been meaning to ask your opinion on the new Varsity Baseball Coach that was hired at BL.  Was he a candidate that you supported ?  Are you pleased with that hire ?  Just wondering.
