Anybody really familiar with these? Are they known to be accurate? We were getting consistently higher speeds of 5+/-mph with an end loaded 33” compared to a balanced 32”.

I would say that is a good sign that it was time to move up to a bigger bat. If he is indeed moving more mass at equal or greater speed you should see more carry on similarly struck balls. Are you able to hit outside to validate what the blast motion is telling you?
