Spray some Tough Skin on the blisters.

Make sure your batting gloves are a good snug fit. If they are loose you will generate more friction between your hands and the gloves causing blisters.

If you swing a bat every day for an extended period, those blisters should turn into callouses. When you get a blister, keep it clean and let it heal. You may have to take it easy on swinging the bat if it's a bad one, but once it heals the skin will be tougher than before and it shouldn't blister anymore.

If you have blisters and calluses, then what is happening is that the callous itself is to blame. You might have to take a layer off of them. This is my opinion but most of these “high quality” batting gloves are a joke. That is a sales pitch. My daughter hits everyday. Here is the batting glove she wears:

Where are the blisters? It could be that your gripping the bat incorrectly.

They also sell a rubber piece that goes around the thumb and protects the base of it like in the glove shown above.

I'd wear golf gloves for batting , not good protection but great feel.

That's funny because I use batting gloves to play golf in because I hit left handed.

I hear pickle juice is good for toughing up the soft spot on the hands. Moises Alou used to use urine to toughen up his hands, so he said.

Ya, hip hip Jorge Posada also uses urine because he doesnt use use batting gloves, but thats not an option far me.
