bblogic,
Let's be perfectly clear...BG did not place 200 in the MLB. A more accurate and less misleading statement would be 200 attendees were drafted in the last X number of years.
We were SUPPOSED to go, but have been forced to cancel due to my son's Legion team making regionals (well, not forced, but chose to cancel). Hoping for a refund, b/c we cannot be sure we won't still be playing when BG goes to W&M or CCU.
Thanks for the advice. It was a no-brainer for Jr--didn't even think twice about it. His HS coach preaches "Team First," and he takes it to heart. Life is about memories, too, and this is one he may never get, again.
As far as exposure, Pirate fan has a great point. We have yet to hear from B-G to see if we can get reassigned to W&M or Coastal, but we got a call from PG wanting him to come to the Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect event next week, and they're willing to wait on him to see if they advance to the Legion WS. It may cost us another $495, but the exposure may be better than B-G.
