I had already posted the link in the South carolina thread discussion.

I did it to let folks know that it does happen, and not just at South Carolina.

So I ask, don't you read before you post and what was the pupose of posting it 3 times? Even in a thread that had nothing to do about violations, starting your own thread, and under yesterday's post about South Carolina? I have been accused of being biased, but this is ridiculous. worm

FYI,
I posted the link in the thread regarding violations against USC.
I realize now that it may have been overlooked by you.
All one needs to do is go to NCAA for the info

I posted the link so that there would be no srguments as to what exactly took place.

If you needed info, why didn't you post in form of a question, instead of 3 different places?

Just wondering....

Fair enough .
I posted in the other forum because I 1st did not see your link and secondly I felt that was relevant to the other threads.
In the tread I got great responses as I try to understand what happened. Our news on it was 1 liner.
As I stated I have always loved GT and my opinion has not cahnged.
I think it is important that people understand how important marks are and how encompassing the NCAA rules are. IN Canada we are ignorant about how serious and easy it is to violate the rules.

No problem.
After thinking about what's happened, we do have to realize that these violations had nothing to do about baseball and has no refection of their baseball programs. I only know of one school that had sanctions opposed on them for baseball, a few years ago. This seems to go on in football all the time.
I also feel there is a lesson to learn from every story. It's important for parents to realize, checking out the athletic advisor and that department in the school your son is interested in, is very important.
We are all discussing a players low GPA on another thread, giving our opinions, but I'll bet half the parents don't know about their son's course rule guidelines for playing, staying eligible is not all about GPA in college.

This is largely because of the $$ in football. As college baseball increases in popularity and television covereage (and I do firmly believe it will increase significantly over the next 10 years), you will see more issues like this in baseball too...unfortunately.
