Books and Information

I am a college student and aspiring HS baseball coach. I am looking to see if any coaches out there can direct me to some books with good information regarding being a baseball coach. Basically, just information on baseball as well as coaching. Also, videos can be included as well. Besides reading everyone's helpful information on the boards, I'd like to read some books. Thanks

Baseball Playbook by Ron Polk is probably the bible. Other books put out by Human Kinetics are good.

As far a videos, Championship Productions puts out some good videos in many areas of the game.

I would also recommend attending a few coaching clinics. They can be very helpful and also allow you to speak directly with other coaches.

Great advise CC. i would suggest seeking out a coaching job for a summer youth team or assisting in a more advanced program. You might checkout the team at your college for opportunities to get involved.
