I'm trying to use Boyds world calendar app to sync up on my iPad, but don't seem to be able to get it to successfully download. Anyone try/succeed in doing this?

I couldn't get it to work on my MacBook either. Maybe it's Apple products?
It worked like a charm for Microsoft Outlook. The files are formatted for Apple it should work. Fenwaysouth doesn't use fruit for computing! You probably have to pay extra royalties to Apple. 
Goosegg - You better get that flight booked for FL as the season is 22 days away. You guys have a big target on your back this year put there by College Baseball Insider. Gehrig is going to be very competitive this year. Congrats to your son for getting selected to the Cape Cod League this summer...I've been meaning to drop you a line.
Birdman - I'll be checking on T to see how he does. I expect a laser RBI double to the gap on his official first at bat again this year!
