Brendan Duffy LHP will attend Desales Univ

My son has decided to play college ball at DeSales University in Pa.

We took several trips there and enjoyed the visits.
They have a solid D3 program and we found the coaching staff to be top notch.

It will be 140 miles from Port Jefferson, Long Island so I should get to a few games (and perhaps sneak a few trips a little further up the road to Hershey Park to indulge those chocolate gravings!

Thanks to everyone out here who answered questions with patience and understanding.

It was both a fun and vexing time and I am sure K complex junior is thrilled to have his top choice come through before his final HS season so he can relax and enjoy himself.

Terrific news! Desales is no doubt getting a high quality kid, and I'd bet that K Complex will now be getting some quality sleep knowing the most vexing part is over.

Congrats to Brendan and all the Duffys for being awesome. BTW, the fun never stops.

Thanks folks- What a relief to find a school that is BOTH an academic fit and baseball fit. Seems like we saw a lot that were one or the other.

Enjoy your season and a special thanks again to all that took the time to answer my PM's when I had questions during the process. You folks are a great and knowledgeable lot.!

Thanks, Hope your son has a great spring also.

Brendan should hear a lot of good stories when he goes to DU as his pitching coach will be a former MLB southpaw that played under Billy Martin and Sparky Anderson! I am sure this coach will have a couple of tales to share playing under those colorful managers!
