Sox....you and I are on the same page as White Sox fans.
However, we have markedly different opinions re Brian.
For as long as he's been a "sure out" in the Sox lineup earlier in the year, notwithstanding his recent "pick up" in batting average really means nothing, except to the numbers geeks.
He doesn't do quality at bats!
He has 3 poor at bats in a game.
Yes, he can play centerfield and can run and throw a little bit, but the Sox should have picked up Corey Patterson or Preston Wilson for the stretch run.
Brian will do well down the road...But he wasn't ready for the big time pressure of the big leagues and White Sox, as WS Champions, this year. Simple as that.
