Brooke Point defeats visiting Mountain View by a score of 11-1.

Senior night at Brooke Point High School paired the Black-Hawks against the District rival Wildcats.

The Hawks broke out the lumber as they banged out 11 hits over the contest.

J.J. McDaniel (2011) had two hits including a Home Run to Right Field. Catcher Travis Cole (2011) also homered in the 5th.

Andrew Tyree (2010) also went 2-2 with David Dilegge (2011) adding a couple of runs.

Pitcher Evan Houde (2010) gave up only 3 hits with 5 K's to notch his 5th Win.

Shane Wolchak (2010) had 2 hits for the Wildcats and drove in their only run.

The Black-Hawks now hold the number 2 seed in the upcoming Commonwealth District Tournament and will play host this Friday night.

I'm pretty sure Stafford in last. Looks like they won 4 games. Albermarle won against Riverbend last night so they're ahead of Stafford. Mass plays NS tonight. It looks like 2nd to last place could be between 3 teams. Not sure how they determine it. Stafford could wind up beating NS if their pitching comes together and bats liven up. They beat the 2nd seed team Brooke Point twice so anything is possible.
bbfan,

Stafford has won 5 in District as I said in previous post and have already played NS.

Season ending Records for both:

Albemarle (5-9,8-12)
Stafford (5-9,6-13)

Stafford and Albemarle have beaten each other once, so I don't know how the tie breaker will work in this case. 2-6 seed is in question Colonial Forge and BP have same conference record, don't know their head to head. the rest is a jumbled mess. The Districts are going to be interesting!!!

As far as BP and Forge having the same District record, I'm not sure how a tie-breaker would work. They split their two games this season. However, BP defeated North Stafford twice, where Forge lost both to NS. Not sure if maybe that comes into play?

Kind of like figuring out the NFL Playoff picture.

Good point about anything can happen. Like the NFL, the Commonwealth District has parity. It will come down to who hits, IMHO.
