Anybody have any knowledge on whether this baseball program is expected to do better in the future than in recent years?.

For what its worth, they continue to invest in their infrastructure by refurbishing their field. A clinic is available September 28th and/or September 29th, 2013. Can't beat the city its in!
What kinds of projects are they working on? Things like drainage and grading, or more seating capacity?
We were told they were doing complete overhaul of stands and bullpen. Not sure if site plans completed yet.
One of Brown's problems is that they've closed themselves out of the Headfirst Honor Roll camps. They tried competing with Headfirst a few years ago but that fell apart, and now, apparently, there's bad blood. So the question is where they find their recruits. Also, their camp attendance is anemic. It's a nice facility and a great location. The question is how well the program is being run.

Totally agree with that. Over the years I've been following them, they seem to have some very good bats, but struggle on the mound and defensively. With those struggles comes an opportunity for some recruits. I really like their campus, and Providence has transformed itself into a great & fun town. .
