I hope Bullwinkle doesn't mind if I post a statement from the UC Irvine Anteater website about his son Brock:

BARDEEN SLUGS .917 TO LEAD ANTEATERS: Junior Brock Bardeen (Fallbrook/HS) batted .400 with six RBI in action last week. Bardeen also posted a .917 slugging percentage, going 6 for 12, including a triple and a pinch-hit home run, his second such round-tripper of the season and fourth overall this season.
Wednesday, the designated hitter went 3 for 5 with Ihree RBI and two runs scored, belting the team's only triple as the Anteaters recorded a season-high 26 hits. Saturday, with the score tied at 1-1, Bardeen hit a pinch-hit home run to stake UCI to a 3-1 lead. Sunday, Bardeen drove in UCI's first run to put the Anteaters on the board and went on to put together a 2-for-4 performance with an RBI and a run scored.

My son, also an "eater" has had the opportunity to play with Brock for the past 2 years. Brock is a great player and a terrific young man.

I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

I've seen Brock play four times this year, and the kid can really rake. And just look at them long snouted boys play the game! When they are hot, their opponents have a tough time getting off the field. Bully may just have to pony up for another long post season run this year.

Thanks for that update Regina, and welcome back... we've missed you. Regards to Mike.
UCI math....6 for 12 equals .400?

Last I checked it was .500....

Funny story...I was talking to a Boston Red Sox cross checker as Brock came up to pitch hit...He asked me what his 60 time is...as brock hits a line drive over the fence, road, grass hill then hits the ARC building (athletic recreation community) 450 away...the cross checker said..."I guess it doesn't matter"
