Bunt into dropped bat

Situation: Hitter bunts the ball, popping it up between the mound and home plate, then bounces back towards home because of backspin and is about to go foul (the fielders chose not to play the ball because it was going foul. Before the ball can go foul, it rolls against the dropped bat in fair territory, preventing it from going foul. What is the call?

I am assuming from your post that the batter did not intentionally throw his bat at the ball to keep it from going foul......

If so the ball is fair.......play on.
