A teammate of my Son has been given a "preferred walk-on" invitation to Butler University.
Any reviews of Butler, its baseball program or the Head Coach?

Below is the info i have in my database. It's a Tier 1 academic school and a tier 3 baseball school. That usually means if you can play ball and have a 1200 SAT your in pretty good shape.

Butler CC is located in a small Kansas town named El Dorado.
Witchita is close by and has many amenities.
Butler is probaby best known for being a power-house in football.
As of April 16th their baseball program stands at:
Record: 14-10 Home: 7-5 Away: 7-5 Conference: 14-10
Not sure what position your son's team mate plays, but I would make sure to have a frank conversation with the coach and find out just exactly how many scholarship players they have signed in his position.
