Son is interested in the baseball program at the University of the Pacific. Any information on the school, the area (Stockton, CA), the conference (Big West) or the baseball program would be much appreciated.

Academically, a very good school. Decent campus, nice ballpark. Expensive (private) school.
Stockton isn't the nicest town, but UOP is a bit of an island there in a decent area. Baseball program has been on the weak side for a while, but there is a lot of potential there.

The Big West includes schools such as UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, and UC Riverside. Great, competitive D! baseball conference.
