Texan, I agree....but I think you understand the rationale. If the mention of a company (any company) elicits negative reaction, then their business may be impacted. If one person here decides to "avoid" a company because he/she has a distaste for its patrons, or its management, or the color of their hats....well, you get the drift. In my opinion, most of the negativity resulting from discussions on this site are initiated/propogated by patrons of competing companies or by those that have axes to grind. It's a PEPSI versus COKE thing. As for the HS side of it -- you got what you got, eh? The competition takes place on the field.

The temptation to continue along political lines would only be greeted by a wink from ASU Ram Fan --- so, 'nuff said.

I would think that for D**T the positives have outweighed the negatives. And if the coaches continue to be good contributors, that can only help.

You can't take your company's name out of the marketplace just because of fear of a bad reaction or two along the way. And realistically, in this case the name can't be taken out of the marketplace regardless.

Again, I agree. I think there have been many positives along with the few negatives. I think D**T GM, SWAC, Kirk, and Cade have made positive contributions to the discussions here --- on subjects other than Cade, Kyle, and Kirk's company.

Texan not having an ownership in the company or an employee I'm probably as close a friend of Cade's as anyone. He has not asked his coaches not to post here. However, if coaches want to post I myself (SWAC) recommend the Dale Hansen disclaimer, "the opinion represented by the poster represents my personal opinion and not that of others". When you have freedom of speech individuals should represent their individual belief. I can't represent my company without certain disclsimers and coaches should follow the same theory; no matter what organization.

They can disclaimer until kingdom comes as far as I'm concerned. Won't bother me. I wouldn't even care if they wore shades while they posted.

As PD pointed out, they have had plenty of good input on topics unrelated to their employer.

I think this whole message board has gotten insane. Months ago when I first started lurking on here it was baseball related. Now it is grown adults arguing and running down kid's teams and coaches or else posting about how their son brought home a new hat like that is the best thing that has happened to them in their adult life.

You guys have a good time with this...it is almost bow hunting season, it IS football season, and it SHOULD be good fishing weather (except it is getting impossible to launch a bass boat). I am out of here for awhile. I'll check back in when baseball season gets a little closer.

Don't kiss their tail....I can see SWAC just dying to reply but afraid he will lose his big salary . He can always come work for another organization like most do.
