Cal to keep women's sports, kill baseball

A very sad day for all of baseball, not just Norcal or Pac 10, err I mean Pac-12 supporters. I wonder how long it will be before the announcement of a new building for the baseball field. Cash strapped indeed. That is prime real estate.

Deep pockets will get you...a baseball program, and women's gymnastics and women's lacrosse and almost men's gymnastics.

"Booster programs" have such a negative connotation at the collegiate level, but many high schools live and die by this type of stuff every day.
