This should probably go in Ca. forum. But just wanted to share . My son had a great year. they won their first section ever in schools history. he was the MVP of his league. He had a D1 scholarship but was released from his NLI. He is attending a JC next year as it is so late in recruiting timeline. But today he was named to the All state 2nd team.
I know people dont want us to get on and talk about our own kids, but my son has fought so hard and worked so hard for everything he has got in baseball. He has persevered when I would of quit.
This is a huge honor for him and an inspiration to all those boys out there who are told are too small, not good enough ,not enough >>>> blah blah blah. keep up the good fight good things can happen.
He doesnt even know he is at practice in 106 degree weather. Just wanted to share esp. with those who have helped me and calmed me through it all. Even though my son is going to a JC, we are very excited about it. the coach loves him and he can continue on hisjourney. thanks

Fanofgame,
Congratulations to your son!

Your son earned his award because he worked hard and must be talented. Talented players make things happen, has nothing to do with size. I know that your son's dream of eventually playing D1 at the right place will happen or perhaps beyond the college game.

Now you can relax and enjoy. College ball is a blast.
